It is not only vital that we see the needs people have in the uttermost parts of the earth, but also right in our own backyard. In order to live that out, Alliance Bible Church has connections with several ministries within our area that give those who attend here a chance to serve the community and reach out to them with the love of Christ.
Love In the Name of Christ in Anchorage
Love in the Name of Christ is an organization which mobilizes the Church to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ. We join with them as a partnering church in order to serve the needs of those who are in need and dear to the heart of Christ. We support Love INC financially, but more importantly, with our service that we might partner together with other churches of the community to show Christ's heart for the poor. For more information about Love INC, visit them at loveincanchorage.org
CPC of Anchorage is committed to sharing God’s love and providing accurate information, services, and support to young women and men to help them make informed life affirming decisions about pregnancy, sexual integrity, parenting, and post-abortion recovery. We support CPC by a yearly offering, gathering supplies for their baby cache, and volunteering to help. Learn more about CPC at cpcanchorage.com
Angel Tree Christmas works by connecting parents in prison with their children through the delivery of Christmas gifts. Every Christmas, thousands of churches like yours help brighten the lives of countless children by purchasing, wrapping and delivering gifts on behalf of their incarcerated parent—not only delivering a message of love from parent to child, but also the true meaning of Christmas—the good news of Jesus Christ. Every year we raise a Christmas tree with "angel ornaments" that represent the child of an incarcerated parent. We shop for gifts, wrap them, and distribute them in the hope of encouraging each child with the love of Christ for them, as well as representing that gift as coming from their parent.
